Smart Growth in Indy

Have you been impressed by what Portland , Oregon  has been able to achieve with their Smart Growth Strategy?  They’ve slowed suburban sprawl and lowered their dependence on automobiles.

Would you like to see Smart Growth take hold in Central Indiana ?

If so, Chris Harrell, Kyle Hendrix, Michael Greven, David Kadlec, Michael Sanders, Reid Litwack, Lori Ballard and Brian Gallagher would like for you to join us downtown on July 15th from 5:30 to 6:30 pm.

We will be discussing three things:

  1. Do we have enough people and energy to start a Central Indiana Smart Growth Chapter?
  1. What are some things weʼd like to see in place ten, twenty, and thirty years from now?
  1. How can we be most effective in achieving these long term goals?

Circle City Tickets’ auction nets $1,025 for relief

Circle City Tickets conceived a unique promotion to raise money for local storm victims. Using an eBay auction, the Indianapolis ticket broker donated two tickets to the first Indianapolis Colts’ regular season opener at Lucas Oil Stadium against the Chicago Bears, with proceeds to help out the American Red Cross in Monroe County. The bid ended Monday, with the auction generating $1,025.

 

Congrats to Angelo and the entire team at Circle City Tickets for their successful, creative fundraising idea!
