(INDIANAPOLIS, IN. July 17, 2006) - Rainmakers, Indianapolis’ fastest growing networking organization, announced today that Lorraine Ball will assume the role of President, effective immediately. Lorraine will replace CJ McClanahan who has lead the organization for 2 ½ years. CJ will continue in an advisory role for the management team, holding the title of President Emeritus.
“No words can truly thank CJ enough”, said organization founder Tony Scelzo. He has inspired, challenged, pushed, coddled and yes even pulled us to where we are today. His leadership will have a ripple effect for years to come.”
A long-time Rainmakers, Lorraine has served in leadership roles within the organization as a member of the advisory board, board of directors, and most recently as chairmen of the Central Hub and Vice President of Content Development. “As we looked to replace the void left by CJ, Lorraine was a natural choice” said Scelzo. “She has the vision, character and ability to lead Rainmakers into the future.”
Supporting Lorraine in her new role will be: Tony Scelzo - Founder, Mike Finnegan - Vice President, Business Development, Rachel Mahl - Director Member Activities, Ellen Dunnigan – Director, Program Development and Cindy Hartman, Milt Woods, Eric Schneller and Paul Sylvester - AM chairs.
