Indy-Carmel Ranked 19th Best City

Published by roundpeg under Carmel, Marketing

This was no surprise to me that Indianapolis-Carmel is ranked No. 19 nationally in the just-released Cities Ranked & Rated by Peter Sander and Bert Sperling (who created Money magazine’s original “Best Places to Live” list.) It was a jump from No. 79 in 2004. Although sometimes controversial, Mayor Brainard has done a great job of adding services and amenities to improve the quality of life in Carmel.

The authors looked at 400 places. In Indiana, Bloomington is rated No. 86, down from 29 in 2004. Lafayette is listed No. 25 nationally, up from No. 23. Source: Lafayette Journal and Courier.
