Smaller Indiana Proving Blogging Can Build Awarenss

Smaller Indiana makes creative people and innovative ideas easier to find. As an outgrowth of the original mission, a group of us are working on BlogIn 2008  as a vehicle to connect local bloggers , increase awareness of blogging in general and establish Indiana as a high tech, connected community.

Part of our plan is an attempt to leverage search engine optimization to garner high rankings for the BlogIN’s designated keywords: Indiana, blog, blogging, blogger, conference, and Indianapolis.  We hope all local bloggers will join in the fun and help our cause at the same time by including some of the  BlogIN’s designated keywords in   blog entry titles, content, tags, and text links between now and the conference on April 26.

Our keyword research shows a significant audience of people searching for phrases containing combinations of our designated keywords: Indiana, blog, blogging, blogger, conference, and Indianapolis.

With enough participation we could actually gain a noticeable presence in the search engine rankings and perhaps drive significant new traffic (and more readers of your blogs)  and to the Smaller Indiana website as a result.
