Indy Smallbiz, Inc., a monthly newsmagazine dedicated to the needs and interests of small business owners in the Indianapolis area was incorporated by its owner, John Gifford, on Friday, May 1st. To be launched on July 1st, the print publication will feature profiles of local small businesses and expert columns by leading small business advisors such as Tony Scelzo, Lorraine Ball, C.J. McClanahan, Milt Woods, and Scott Manning. Additional content will include press releases, a calendar of events, “nuts and bolts” information on how to grow your business, and the category-defying Unusual Small Business Items/Practices/People. A companion website, www.indysmallbiz.com (to be online June 1st) and blog will enable timely updates to its content.

Fantastic John!
I was excited to hear about Indy Smallbiz when it was just an idea. I’m happy to hear about it’s release!
This will be a great place for small business owners to get their message out, network with each other, and MAKE MONEY. It will be fun to watch Indy Smallbiz grow.

Small businesses in Indy have needed a voice and outlet. It has been an underserved market. This newsmagazine will be a great asset to the small business community.

I was just informed that I was in a photo op that was taken back in august may be at the new rennaisance hotel. the publisher asked one the of the members from the indy chamber of commerce what my name was and she did not know. but my name is Gus Powell of banneker industries.
