(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) – Pat O’Day CTO of BlueLock, Indianapolis-based Infrastructure as a service company, will be a featured speaker at IBM’s Webinar on October 15th. Val Rahmani, ISS General Manager for IBM, will kick off the webinar with a sneak peek of their Security without Compromise initiative, which will help reduce the “cost and complexity of security to enabling business.”
IBM has recently announced a large push into the cloud computing and virtualization tools and as part of their initiative they are conducting this webinar. They have reached out to experts external from IBM who have knowledge and key development in the future of cloud computing. O’Day has been invited to share his insight on security and what BlueLock does to solve the arising challenges of internet security.

Pat O’Day is responsible for engineering, commercializing and making BlueLock’s “infrastructure-as-as-service” model a business reality. With more than 15 years of experience as an information technology professional, he defines BlueLock’s services, architects its unique hosted IT environments, spearheads its strategic vendor alliances and oversees service deployment and delivery.
Before joining BlueLock, Pat served as the director of managed services for n|Frame, Inc., a data center, network management and disaster recovery service provider. He was responsible for developing the company’s technical processes and procedures and managing a team of IT engineers. Pat has held a variety of management-level technical positions with companies such as St. Vincent Hospital and Eli Lilly and Company.
Pat holds industry certifications in intrusion detection, host vulnerability assessment, network vulnerability assessment and firewall engineering. He is the co-founder and former president of the local Association of Internet Professionals and a former board member of the technology peer group for TechPoint, Indiana’s only statewide information technology association.
