Indianapolis, Ind. – Pat O’Day, CTO of Indianapolis-based BlueLock, LLC has joined the customer advisory board for Shavlik Technologies. O’Day is the only member of the board to represent Managed Service Provider companies.
Shavlik convenes board meetings twice a year to preview future products and company goals. Board members provide feedback, and insight from their company and industry perspectives. This interactive process provides Shavlik with direct access to some of their most active users.

This year’s meeting will be held at the Red Rock Casino Resort in Las Vegas. The three day event will include a presentation by Derek Brink, Vice President & Research Director, IT Security at Aberdeen Group, as well as multiple demonstrations, workshops, case studies and other activities throughout the day.

Pat O’Day is responsible for engineering, commercializing and making BlueLock’s “infrastructure-as-as-service” model a business reality. With more than 20 years of experience as an information technology professional, he defines BlueLock’s services, architects its unique hosted IT environments, spearheads its strategic vendor alliances and oversees service deployment and delivery.
Before joining BlueLock, Pat served as Vice President of Operations for an Indianapolis-based managed service provider. He was responsible for developing the company’s technical processes and procedures and managing a team of IT engineers.
Pat holds industry certifications in intrusion detection, host vulnerability assessment, network vulnerability assessment and firewall engineering. He is the co-founder and former president of the local Association of Internet Professionals and a former board member of the technology peer group for TechPoint, Indiana’s only statewide information technology association. Recognized as an industry expert O’Day is continuously invited to speak at industry events and on panels to help educate other in the field.
