(INDIANAPOLIS)- Barry Krauss, former Colts linebacker, will speak about his life in college football and the NFL at the December Confluence networking event sponsored by ADVANTAGE Health Solutions. The event is the association’s Holiday Party and it will be held on December 9, from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m., at the Forty-Five Degrees restaurant at 765 Massachusetts Avenue, at the corner of College and Massachusetts.
“We’re looking forward to having Barry speak to Confluence,” said Brett Healey, president of Confluence. “He’s been a great part of the Indianapolis community, and is an excellent motivational speaker.”
Krauss, who played for the Colts and Miami Dolphins from 1979 – 1991, is a football analyst for the Alabama Crimson Tide and Indianapolis Colts. Krauss is also a motivational speaker and published author. He travels the country, speaking about team building, personal improvement, change, and motivation. Darrin Gray, from Tony Dungy’s Fatherhood Charity, secured Krauss on behalf of Confluence and suspects Krauss will speak about “Defining Moments.” Vicki Perry, President of ADVANTAGE, will introduce Krauss.
Krauss will also be available for autographs, photos, and will sign copies of his book afterward. The event will also have open networking, free hors d’oeuvres, and a cash bar.
Tickets for the special holiday party are limited, and are available at www.IndyConfluence.com. Pre-registered tickets are $25, but tickets are limited. If any remain, they can be purchased for $30 at the door. A portion of the proceeds from the event will benefit the American Lung Association of Indiana.
