(INDIANAPOLIS, IN December 5, 2008) – Heavenly Sweets, has announced the opening of a retail shop at 610 W. Hannibal Street. The retail shop offers pies, cakes, cupcakes, fudge, cookie dough, peanut brittle, Holiday trays (sweets and savory) and other sweets and treats.
The larger facility, formerly the Classic Kitchen, has a complete commercial kitchen, allowing the company to expand their catering business. The bakery has been recognized as one of the best bakeries in Indianapolis. Known for custom wedding cakes they now have the space to sell their items daily to the public.
“Many of our customers, who have enjoyed our unique cakes at weddings, have expressed desire to get items on a regular basis,” said owner and founder Tanya Marshall. “The new space allows us to offer our cakes and treats to the public.
Some of the most popular items in the new retail shop include: Heavenly Sweets pies prepared with homemade fillings in a light flaky crust, holiday logs and cakes, which are decorated for the holidays or a round torte.
