Indianpolis, IN – Rainmakers, Indiana’s Fastest Growing Business Association announced that they will be a sponsor of Indianapolis’ Startup Weekend planned for December 5 – 7.
Startup weekend is an intense, 54 hour event designed to build communities companies and projects. During the fast-paced weekend, teams of programmers will work to develop the software to support a unique business idea.
As part of their sponsorship, Rainmakers will provide free guest passes to one of their networking events. This will allow anyone who attends the weekend to continue making connections after the weekend is over.
“This weekend is about community and commerce,” said Lorraine Ball, president of Rainmakers. “Building on that them, we believe anyone interested in starting a business, will benefit from connecting with our members. “

The event will be held at the Purdue School of Engineering and Technology at the downtown IUPUI campus beginning at 5:00 Pm on Friday night, continuing through Sunday.
