Smaller Indiana, www.SmallerIndiana.com, a statewide online community, announced today a special initiative for the local arts community. Smaller Indiana, which attracts approximately 2,000 visitors each day, will offer free banner advertising on their home page. The advertising space is reserved exclusively for accredited, non-profit arts organizations in Indiana. This new position will supplement the Smaller Indiana events calendar, arts blogs and event blogs the community offers to promote local events.
“From the beginning, Smaller Indiana has been committed to expanding awareness of the arts community’” said Pat Coyle, founder of Smaller Indiana. “As endowments decline and budgets are cut it is s harder than ever for these organizations to advertise and promote their services. With more than 4,000 members, we can effectively help these organizations reach their audience.”
This service will be provided on a rotation basis to theatre, music, and other artistic organizations. Each day we will feature a banner advertisement for one organization with a link to their website. The free position is made available on a first-come-first-served basis. Interested organizations can submit their request via email to: admin@smallerindiana.com or directly to Pat Coyle on www.smallerindiana.com. Submissions should include a static graphic banner 500 pixels wide by 100 pixels deep along with the address of the website to which the link should point. The program will begin today and continue indefinitely.
