Indianapolis-based BlueLock, provider of Cloud Computing and Managed IT services, announced their CTO Pat O’Day has been invited to co-present at the IBM Pulse 2009 Premiere Service Management Event. The five-day conference is scheduled for February 8 – 12 at the MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas, NV.
At this year’s event, IBM will showcase how they are managing the world’s infrastructure, integrating business, IT and their industry solutions capabilities to thousands of professionals. The conference promises to deliver a full spectrum of high-quality business, industry, user and technical content at every level through more than 200 IBM client presentations.
“Security is one of the hottest topics in the ongoing discussion of cloud computing,” said Pat O’Day. “It is one of the most critical elements every enterprise must address in order to make the transition to a cloud environment.”
John Pirc, Senior Product Line Manager for IBM will share the session with O’Day, a recognized expert in cloud computing. Together, they will offer their perspectives on security trends, new developments and applications.
“As we continue to evaluate new platform strategies, it is clear IBM-ISS understands the challenges, and is continuing to evolve their product line to meet the needs of the virtual cloud computing space,” said O’Day. “I am pleased to share my expertise side by side with John at this event.”
