Here is an interesting twist:
The name of an advertising, marketing and public relations firm has returned to Indianapolis. MARC USA/Indianapolis has acquired the legal rights to use the name of Caldwell VanRiper, the fifth oldest advertising agency in the U.S. Paula MacVittie will lead the firm as president and chief executive officer. The agency is also seeking to be certified by the state as a woman-owned business enterprise (WBE).
Usually we read about businesses going the other way. Is this a fluke or the beginning of a trend? Either way, i am glad to see Paula back at the head of CVR. We worked closely with them when I was at Carrier and she was running the show. It was a great company to work with. I wish them all the best.
