INDIANAPOLIS — Confluence Networking will launch a new Northside Network on Wednesday, January 28, 2009 at the Manhattan Restaurant from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. The Network is both for people who live and work on the north side of Indianapolis, as well as those interested in new technology. As with most Confluence events plan for 60-minutes of education and 60-minutes of open networking.
“This is more for people who want to use technology to help them do business better,” said Brett Healey, president of Confluence. “This isn’t a technical organization, but rather for people who want to learn more about social networks, blogging, and Web 2.0 techniques to improve how they do business.”
This month’s event will feature a one-hour educational session on “How to use social media to grow your business.” Panelists, and Board Members, will include Jeb Banner from Small Box Consulting, Don Schindler from Media Sauce, Justin Bryant from Fuseworks, Paula Henry Realtor for indymoves.com, Erik Deckers of Deckers Marketing, and others to discuss how they use blogging and social networks.
“The last time we did something like this, we packed the room,” said Deckers, Confluence’s EVP. “A lot of people, especially larger companies, are interested to learn how social media can improve customer retention, cut marketing and PR costs, and even improve employee satisfaction and loyalty.”

Just a small correction. I am a man not a woman (Jeb not Jen Banner)
Or my wife (Jenny) is on this panel and I’m totally confused. Thanks, Jeb

Sorry Jeb, we simply cut and pasted from the press release. You may want to touch base with Brett as well.

Is this Fusework Studios that will be represented? Referred to as Fusework?
