(INDIANAPOLIS, IN January 29, 2009) - Rainmakers, Indiana’s fastest growing business association, presented Pat Coyle founder of Smaller Indiana with the Rainmaker share award at the 6th annual Rainmaker of the Year Awards January 27th at the Ritz Charles in Carmel. This award is presented annually to an individual who is not a member of the association but clearly demonstrates the Rainmaker “S.H.A.R.E.” philosophy.
Coyle is recognized for his contribution to the Indianapolis business community with the creation of Smaller Indiana, www.smallerindiana.com. The online community has grown to more than 4,400 members, is in the top one percent of web sites worldwide and is a go-to resource for Hoosiers seeking information on arts, culture, business, events, etc.
In a presentation recognizing Coyle, Rainmaker president Lorraine Ball said, “The ‘H’ in S.H.A.R.E. stands for hospitality. Through the creation of Smaller Indiana Pat has clearly made our community a more welcoming place, where creative people can connect and find outlets for their ideas.”

Coyle earned a bachelor’s degree in English literature from Hamilton College in 1988. Pat and his wife, Amy, and their five children reside in Indianapolis.
