INDIANPOLIS –Indianapolis-based BlueLock, provider of Cloud Computing and Managed IT services, reached an important milestone last month. February 26 marked the two year anniversary of their state-of-the-art Indianapolis facility.
BlueLock, the first and only cloud provider in Indiana, is recognized both locally and nationally for their leadership and innovation in the area of Cloud Computing. “Just recently KPMG completely their Exploring Global Frontiers Report and listed Indianapolis as one of the top three cities on the forefront of the growth curve,” said John Qualls. “At BlueLock we were not surprised; we’ve been on the front end of that growth the past two years.”
Competing with larger more established companies on a national basis, they routinely close deals, bringing projects and national attention to Indianapolis. “We love the Indianapolis community and picked our location purposefully, even though Indy is not a huge technical hub,” said Brian Wolff. “Location only matters when it impacts the cost to deliver the service and since our service is virtual it gives us the opportunity to pass the savings on to our clients.”
The cutting-edge facility, located at 6325 Morenci Trail, houses hundreds of blade and SAN servers available to clients for a monthly fee, based on usage. BlueLock’s solution allows companies to forgo the capital investment and day to day upkeep of hosting equipment for a secure, scalable, redundant and compliant environment at a fraction of the cost. The facility houses data and processing for such diverse companies as Galvin Technologies, Career Scribe, Right On Interactive and rPath.
In addition, the facility is large enough to host meetings, user group events and Indianapolis’ first ever CloudCamp. BlueLock looks forward to bringing more events and attention to the Indianapolis community.
BlueLock also has a sister facility in Salt Lake City, which they use as a backup resource for data recovery. For more information on BlueLock please visit www.bluelock.com or contact info@bluelock.com.
