INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Roundpeg, one of Indy’s leading small business marketing firms, announced the addition of two interns to their staff this summer. Beginning their term on May 11th, Christine Maley from IU and Jay Mattingly from IUPUI will join the marketing team at Roundpeg as a public relations and internet marketing intern respectively.
Maley is a junior at Indiana University in Bloomington and will graduate in 2011 with a double major in Journalism and Psychology. At Roundpeg she will work with clients, developing and distributing press releases and overseeing both faculty and student communications for Rainmaker University. She will also be responsible for researching events for the popular Roundpeg Calendar.
Mattingly, a student of IUPUI’s Kelley School of Business is working on his Business Marketing degree with an expected graduation date of December 2009. During his internship he will develop online marketing campaigns and web sites for clients, and manage the company’s website and popular event list, which is distributed to 3500 local business professionals weekly.
“We are excited to have Jay and Christine join us this summer,” said Lorraine Ball, founder of Roundpeg. “We are looking forward to seeing them apply what they have learned to their assignments with Roundpeg.”
About Christine Maley: A Chicago native, Christine graduated from Hinsdale Central High School in 2007 before enrolling at Indiana University. As a junior she is involved in many organizations including Pi Beta Phi International Sorority, student government, and is a “moraler” for the University’s Dance Marathon.
About Jay Mattingly: After completing his high school education in 2005 at Mount Vernon High School, Jay enrolled in business courses at IUPUI in Indianapolis. In addition to his role at Roundpeg, he will continue to work in the radiology department for the Community Hospital in Indianapolis.
