CARMEL, Ind. -Local attorney and mother will be competing for the title of Mrs. Indiana America on June 7, 2009 at the Carmel Performing Arts Center in Carmel, Indiana.
L. Leona Frank, a committed attorney, volunteer and mother was chosen to compete for the title of Mrs. Indiana from a field of applicants received from throughout the state. Leona is committed to raising her daughter with a strong sense of giving back to her community. “ I feel it is my duty to use my voice and talents to raise money for the programs that are important to me,” says Frank. “ And I want my children to follow in my footsteps in giving back to their communities as well.”
Leona’s husband Scott, a Sales Executive with Management 2000, and her daughter Julia are extremely proud of her. In addition to being an attorney, business owner, mother and volunteer, Leona also enjoys meeting new people, playing tennis and golf, modeling for the Helen Wells agency and learning new things.
Leona will compete in three categories for the Mrs. Indiana title: personal interview, swimsuit and evening gown. Contestants for the Mrs. Indiana America pageant must be married and live in the state of Indiana. The winner will receive a prize package worth thousands of dollars and will go on to compete for the title of Mrs. America!
