(INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.) – Pinpoint Multimedia, one of Indiana’s leading audio visual consultants, announced they have been chosen to help renovate the Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame Museum. Pinpoint Multimedia has already begun work on the project which is scheduled to be unveiled August 22, 2009.
Collaborating with Coppinger Exhibits, who is responsible for overseeing the overall project and exhibit renovation, Pinpoint Multimedia will update and create multimedia content to make the displays more interactive and innovative. The updated displays will include exhibits honoring all Hall of Fame inductees, Silver Anniversary Teams, and the Boys and Girls Championship Teams of the past.
In addition, the project will include an updated video trivia challenge and a “You Make the Call” exhibit which allows visitors to watch classic clips of Hoosier Hysteria and then record their voice as the announcer. Pinpoint has sub-contracted the help of local interactive technology firm Visual Blaze to help develop some of the interactive components.
“We’ve had a great time working with the staff at the Hall of Fame brainstorming some fantastic ideas for this project,” said Pinpoint Multimedia owner, Dave Anderson. “We couldn’t be more thrilled to work with the talented people at Coppinger and Visual Blaze. The end result will be phenomenal.”
This is the second time that Pinpoint Multimedia has worked with the Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame. Last year they redesigned the museum’s web site to include more video, photography and interactive pieces.
