Carlotta Katra, Founder of Aging Avenues Eldercare Information and Referral Services will speak at WINK’s June 19th luncheon. Carlotta will share How to Not Get Squashed in the Sandwich Generation.
With one out of every five people becoming caregivers for their aging loved one today it’s vital that people learn all their options and how to plan before they need to seek help. Caregivers are often entering into uncharted territories when it comes to dealing with Medicare and how to find and pay for help.
Guests will learn how to start “the conversation” with their loved one, what care options are available and what advance planning can be done. Caregiving has a huge impact on businesses today costing employers $17.1 million dollars in unproductive time when someone is a caregiver. Businesses can also prepare their staff to be prepared for these difficult times.
WINK is held at Oak Hill Mansion in Carmel at 11:30 on June 19th. For more information on Aging Avenues contact us at 317-731-3315 or info@agingavenues.com.
