(FORT WAYNE, Ind.) – Spherion Corporation, a recruiting, staffing and workforce solutions provider, announced it has opened a new Staffing Services Group office. The new location is 4112 East State Boulevard in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Spherion Staffing Services will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony on Friday, June 19 at noon to celebrate their newest office. Participating in the ribbon cutting, along with company officials from Spherion Corporation will be representatives from the Fort Wayne Chamber of Commerce and the City of Fort Wayne.

The new office will be managed by Pentenburg, who has more than 12 years of experience in the recruiting and staffing industry. Prior to joining Spherion, he was region director at Forge Industrial Staffing in Fort Wayne, Ind., and was responsible for market operations. Before that position, Pentenburg served as production supervisor at Guardian Automotive in Auburn, Ind.

I really don’t like these companies. They take low paying jobs and make them lower paying jobs. I’m not saying that they don’t serve a purpose for some people. The majority of these companies popping up are really changing the blue collar job industry for the worse and in this economy it is one more nail in the coffin.
