Our Ultimate Pink Slip Party is an upbeat evening event that helps connect out-of-work (or soon to be) jobseekers with hiring companies in a relaxed and fun environment. It also helps you realize that you’re not alone! You might say that this is a casual version of a job fair, minus the tables and the lines!
Simply show up with tons of resumes and business cards, enjoy some great food, buy yourself a drink, and seek out recruiters/hiring managers in a relaxed environment. When you register at the door, you will receive a color-coded bracelet that will identify you. Pink is for unemployed “pink slippers”, Blue for the “heard about and looking” and Green for employers/headhunters. This will allow you to network with the people that matter to you.
The party gives all professionals who have recently been let go the opportunity to rub elbows with local employers and HR reps in our area. The event will be held August 11, 2009 from 5:30pm-8:30pm at Oak Hill Mansion, Camel IN. The cost of registration is $15.
