INDIANAPOLIS – Confluence Networking announced that Erik Deckers will take over as the new president of the organization, beginning July 1. “I’m looking forward to this,” said Deckers.
“I’ve enjoyed being a part of the organization, and I really appreciate all the faith that Brett and the rest of the board has shown in me.”
Current president Brett Healey, VP of Marketing for FP Services, will remain as the owner of the organization, and will work to grow Confluence as a national network with their new social network, USConfluence.com. Deckers is a blog manager and consultant for Professional Blog Service, a corporate blogging company in Indianapolis. He is a member of Rainmakers and the Fishers Chamber of Commerce. He is also a newspaper humor columnist and public speaker.
“When I started looking for someone to take over for me, I didn’t have to look very far,” said Healey. “Erik has been with us since we first started Confluence, and has put in a lot of work to help the organization grow and thrive. We’ve got a few challenges ahead of us, but I’m confident that Erik will be able to handle it.”
