INDIANAPOLIS – Local chef JJ Boston announces the opening of his new innovative grilling experience, Chef JJ’s Back Yard, later this summer. Back Yard will be located at 1040 Broad Ripple Avenue in Indianapolis.
Best known for his grilled specialties, Chef JJ envisions a relaxed atmosphere for private dining, corporate teambuilding and entertaining, and public grilling classes in his new space. Back Yard will feature a large outdoor patio overlooking the river and an indoor space filled with grill islands and Big Green Eggs. Clients and “Eggheads” –fans of the Big Green Egg grill- can find Chef JJ’s favorite grilling accessories, Big Green Eggs and custom outdoor design in the retail center.
“We have looked for a location for quite awhile,” said Chef JJ, “and we are thrilled to have found the perfect spot on the river in Broad Ripple. We focus on the Farm to Fork concept using locally grown produce, protein and products. This with “green” grilling on the Egg combines to create a dining experience like no other in Indy.” Backyard will also feature beer by a new local start-up brewery, Sun King Brewery.
“Most people think of grilling as a summer activity only,” said Boston. “We hope to convince people, with a Big Green Egg, grilling is possible all year long.”
