(INDIANAPOLIS, IN. July 1, 2009) – Roundpeg, one of Indy’s leading small business marketing firms, announced the addition of a new team member and new summer intern. Michelle Ball a recent graduate from IUPUI and Eleanor Flores a student at IU join the marketing team at Roundpeg as an account executive and public relations intern, respectively.
Ball is a recent graduate of IUPUI with degrees in Tourism Event Planning and Multimedia. Before joining Roundpeg, Ball served as the Assistant Event Director at Tech Point, supporting, Mira and Tech Summit events. In her role as an account executive, Ball will be responsible for providing marketing, pr and social media support for small businesses with press releases, newsletters and social media strategies. She will oversee both faculty and student communications for Rainmaker University.
“We are excited to make Michelle a new member of the team,” Lorraine Ball, founder of Roundpeg. “She has had a lot of experience in the field already and we can’t wait to see what she can do here at Roundpeg.”
Flores is a junior at Indiana University in Bloomington and will graduate in 2011 with a major in Journalism and Psychology. With strong writing and graphic design skills she will support both the PR and design services at Roundpeg.
“Although still a student, Eleanor brings a solid foundation in PR and design.” said Ball. “I am confident our clients will enjoy working with her this summer!”
About Michelle Ball: An Indianapolis resident, Michelle holds a BA from IUPUI in Travel and Event Planning from IUPUI and an AA from Vincennes University in Broadcast and Multimedia. An experienced event planner she has coordinated volunteers and sponsors for a series of events for TechPoint, JazzFest and the American Pianist Association.
About Eleanor Flores: A Noblesville resident, Eleanor graduated from Park Tudor School in 2007 before enrolling at Indiana University. As a junior she is involved in organizations including Alpha Chi Omega International Sorority and the ZOI Greek Community.
