INDIANAPOLIS-The Greater Indianapolis Chamber of Commerce has hired Donna Marino as Senior Vice President of Marketing & Communications. Marino will start July 20, 2009.

In her new role, Marino will be responsible for positioning the Chamber as central Indiana’s leading business organization through communications, public and media relations strategies. Additionally, she will be responsible for effectively promoting Chamber services and benefits to members and prospects.

“Donna brings strong leadership skills and an extensive knowledge of the business community. Whether it’s promoting the Chamber’s core values or publicizing prominent networking events, Donna will bring innovative ideas and expertise to the table,” said Indianapolis Chamber President Roland Dorson. “We are excited and look forward to having her as part of the team.”

Marino recently ran ARMONIA Communications, a business consulting and executive coaching firm. Prior to her work at ARMONIA, Marino served in leadership roles with Eastman Kodak Company, Rubbermaid and Roche Diagnostics.

Marino holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from Rochester Institute of Technology.
