(Carmel, Indiana; August 10, 2009) Mo Merhoff, President of the Carmel Chamber of Commerce, is the newly elected chair for the Indiana Chamber Executives Association (ICEA).
ICEA provides professional development assistance to the local chambers of commerce across the state. Nearly 100 local chambers are members of ICEA. Founded in 1915, the Indiana Chamber Executives Association coordinates opportunities to enhance skills and network with peers specific to the industry of chamber of commerce management.
Merhoff will lead a Board of Directors comprised of chamber professionals from the following communities: Valparaiso; Goshen; Warsaw; Huntington; Crawfordsville; Carmel; Bloomington; New Albany and Evansville. Merhoff will also serve as the organization’s representative on the Indiana Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors for 2009-10. The Indiana Chamber Executives Association office is located in Madison.
