Indianapolis, Ind. – Indianapolis-based Roundpeg, a small business marketing services firm has launched an updated Web site located at www.roundpeg.biz. The updated Web site was built on an enhanced Word Press template and features more user-friendly navigation. The expanded portfolio section showcases samples of Roundpeg’s web design, branding and collateral projects.
The interactive development project has included several surveys and public debates on both the Roundpeg and SmallerIndiana Web sites soliciting feedback from clients, peers, and even competitors.
“Inviting input allowed us to see how our brand was perceived in the market place, and what people thought was important on a Web site for a firm like ours” says Lorraine Ball, founder of Roundpeg. “There were some significant changes made to the designs after the first round of input, to include things we left out, and eliminate features most visitors thought were unnecessary.”
The site is built on a WordPress Platform, with the “Theme” as the foundation. It includes several popular plug-ins Featured Content Gallery, NextGEN Gallery, Picasa Photos, WordTube, which add functionality to the site.
“Since we build Web sites in WordPress for clients, the challenge was to use the platform as a way to showcase what is possible,” said Jay Mattingly, Roundpeg intern responsible for much of the project. “We evaluated a number of plug-ins, and I am extremely pleased with the enhanced image management available with them.
In addition to the expanded portfolio showcase, the new site features video clips and the popular Business Notes from Roundpeg Blog – a daily dose of marketing and small business tips, and Roundpeg news and views. To view the site or learn more about Roundpeg go to: www.roundpeg.biz
