September Confluence Topic: Hazel Walker to speak on “The Importance of Networking for Corporate Employees”
(INDIANAPOLIS, August 28, 2009)—Hazel Walker will speak at the September Confluence networking event on the importance of networking for corporate employees.
Walker is a popular speaker, business coach and president of BNI Indiana, a business networking group. She shows people how to find important career advancements, business deals, and personal opportunities through networking with people inside and outside their field and even their company.
“I’ve known Hazel for a long time, and she’s helped a lot of people achieve great things,” said Erik Deckers, president of Confluence. “She can help you learn how to find those golden opportunities in some of the most unlikely places.
The event will be held on Tuesday, September 8 from 3:00 – 5:00 pm, at the Blu Martini, 4705 E 96th St (96th & Gray Rd.). The cost is $20, which can be paid at the door, or online at www.IndyConfluence.com.
“For corporations to grow, as well as for people to improve their own lives and careers, it’s important to find the people who can make a difference to us,” said Deckers. “I’ve been helped by people like Hazel who have shown me how and why I need to do that. A lot of the opportunities that I’ve been given in the past few years have come about because of networking.”
