(Carmel, IN) – Bob Higgins, General Manager and Superintendent of the City of Carmel’s Brookshire Golf Club, has hired Brian Ballard to serve as Golf Professional at the course. Ballard is a PGA Class A Member with experience at every level of the golf business.
His background includes a strong history of managing and organizing club tournaments, hiring and training staff to provide a high level of service and managing a successful inventory program. Most recently, Ballard was Assistant Golf Professional at Highland Golf & Country Club in Indianapolis. He began his career as a Shop Assistant at Briar Leaf Golf Club in La Porte.
Ballard holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Sport Administration from Ball State University. His professional accomplishments include passing the PGA Playing Ability Test, qualifying for the 2001 Indiana Open, being an IGA rules official during 2006 Match Play Championship and a member on the 2009 Assistants Tournament Committee.
