(INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.) – Each year there are quests for the best burger in Indy. Many restaurants feature a different twist to the patty, toppings, form of grill or even the bun. But so far, not one restaurant has featured patties grilled on the Big Green Egg. Chef JJ Boston, owner of Chef JJ’s Back Yard, would like to put a bid on the table for all those burger lovers out there; if you want to experience a great burger, you need to taste one that has been grilled on the Big Green Egg.
Chef JJ thinks that “nothing tastes better than a truly grilled burger, done on an open fire.” “Since we use the world’s greatest smoker and grill, the Big Green Egg, to prepare all our food, we thought it would be appropriate to feature some special burgers that represent what Chef JJ’s Back Yard is all about.”
So here is your chance to experience this one of a kind burger quest in Indianapolis! We will be featuring Dick Davis, Burger Quest leader, who writes burger reviews on Smaller Indiana and Twitter under “Burger Quest.” Thursday, November 5th Back Yard will host a Burger Quest dinner starting at 6:15p with a beer appetizer with seating to follow at 6:30p. For $28 enjoy a flight of Sun King beer and a flight of freshly prepared and grilled burgers with a side of house frittes. And a pen and paper for important notes!
