(Indianapolis, IN) – Rainmakers, central Indiana’s fastest growing business association, announced today the addition of a new incubator group in Indianapolis. Led by Nick Carter of AddressTwo, the new Incubators Group will feature speakers and topics relevant to new business owners. Nick will be supported by an advisory board comprised of business leaders and consultants from a wide range of industries.
The inaugural Incubators meeting will be held on February 2, 2010 at Loon Lake Lodge at 7:30am. Admission is $20 for Rainmakers and $35 for the general public. The 90 minute event begins promptly at 7:30am with a brief presentation by Kristian Andersen, President of Kristian Andersen & Associates.
“Rainmakers have the expertise to fill the need for a new breed of technology networking event in central Indiana,” said Nick Carter, CEO of AddressTwo. “We are looking forward to an exciting launch on February 2, 2010.”
Serving a two year term, the Incubators board is responsible for providing advice and feedback to the management team. In addition, they are responsible for involving guests and new members in the organization and building awareness in their local community. About Kristian Andersen:
Kristian Andersen is the founder and president of KA+A, a boutique branding and experience design firm that helps companies define, articulate and execute brand strategies and user experiences that drive long-term success.
In addition to directing the operations of KA+A, Kristian also serves as a managing partner at Gravity Ventures, an Indianapolis-based, venture fund that makes investments in seed and early-stage companies. Additionally, he has co-founded or invested in several innovative start-ups, in which he serves in various leadership capacities.
Kristian received his BA in design from Anderson University and has completed additional study in digital and industrial design at Carnegie Mellon University. In 2005 Kristian was one of forty design executives in the nation who were selected to attend the Harvard Business School Design Leadership Program.
