(INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.) – The Broad Ripple Village Association (BRVA) and Chef JJ’s Back Yard are pairing up for a fundraising dinner to benefit the BRVA on Wednesday, February 17th. Chef JJ’s Back Yard is participating by hosting a wonderful evening for an even more wonderful cause. The idea behind the Community Dinner is to gather together those who want to create a better place to live, work, shop, dine, exercise, and visit! Join others in the neighborhood who are like-minded for a fabulous four-course meal, accompanied by beer provided by Sun King Brewery and wine provided by Gray Bull Distributors. Proceeds will go to the BRVA, enabling the neighborhood association to continue its many beautification, public safety, and planning projects.
The evening will start at 6 pm with appetizers and drinks. Seating will follow at 6:30 pm. Once seated, each course will be presented to the guests straight from the Big Green Egg. Each dish will be made with fresh, local ingredients. Pairings of specific beers and wines will be served with each course, and a brewer and sommelier will be among the crowd to represent their products.
“This collaboration is something that we enjoy doing. Broad Ripple is a quaint, fun, active area that deserves time and attention from an association like the BRVA. If it was not for it, many safety and beautification changes would not have happened in the last few years,” says Chef JJ.
BRVA Executive Director Sharon Butsch Freeland adds, “The support of local residents, businesses, and organizations allows us to address neighborhood needs that are not being met elsewhere, as well as to undertake projects that plan for the future of Broad Ripple Village. The BRVA thought it would be nice for a group of those who share a love for this unique community to break bread together.”
