(Carmel, IN) The Entrepreneurship Advancement Center (EAC) announced that John Marske of M&I will join the Board of Directors. This volunteer board supports Executive Director Cathy Langlois in developing and implementing a strategy to accomplish the EAC’s mission of enhancing the economic health of the communities they serve, fostering and advancing entrepreneurial interest and success.
“John Marske brings a diverse skill set, and significant experience to the organization” said Cathy Langlois, Executive Director, and Entrepreneurship Advancement Center. “We look forward to working with John to affect the economic health of Hamilton County with programs, services and tools for new and growing companies.”

About John Marske: Currently the vice president of portfolio management for M&I, John joined M&I in 2006 upon the acquisition of FirstTrust Indiana. John has over twenty years of experience managing institutional investment portfolios. He is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame earning a bachelor of business administration degree in finance and a master of business administration degree. In addition to trading and managing equities, high-grade bonds and high-yield bonds, John has also done considerable work involving asset/liability management, portfolio strategy and surplus management. Professionally, he earned the Chartered Financial Analyst designation, and the FLMI designation.
John has taught graduate and undergraduate level courses at Indiana Wesleyan and Marion College. In addition to serving on the EAC Board, he is currently a Board member of Hoosier Academy. John was a member of the Stanley K. Lacy leadership class XXIX and is a current member of the Hamilton County Leadership class.
