(INDIANAPOLIS, Ind) – Chef JJ’s Back Yard is now taking reservations for the Copper River Salmon Grill & Swill, hosted on May 27th at 6:30pm. JJ Boston will be grilling one of his favorite proteins, the Copper River Salmon. The month of May is the best time to eat this fish because the ‘meat’ has reached its peak along with the immaculate color. Chef JJ will make sure the fish is flown in fresh for the evening so that everyone who attends can be sure to get a great experience. A flight of salmon will be part of the menu that evening so that comparisons can be made. Along with the salmon, we will be bringing in our Sommelier from Gray Bull Distributors, to pair the perfect wines with each course, which can make a huge difference when eating a rich fish.
“When I lived in Spokane, Washington there was an official holiday for the opening season of Copper River Salmon. The city literally shut down for one full day, it was a huge deal where I came from. This is some of the best, most delicate fish in the world and I want to bring a little piece of my past, to Indy,” says JJ Boston. “I thought that the salmon would be even better when perfectly paired with some great wine. And with the timing of this event it would be best suited to take place on the back patio at Back Yard. With all these elements, I think we have prepared for a great night here at Chef JJ’s.”
