This lighthearted video opened the 2010 Mira awards, giving us a bleak picture of what life would be like without Indiana tech firms. . From Exact Target and Compendium Blogware to Lightbound Internet., these companies employ hundreds of people, and affect the lives and business success of thousands of others.
The video raises the question, what would the economy of Indiana be like if our big tech companies didn’t exist? As I watched the video, there is another question that came to mind. What technology or idea out there yest to be discovered? What is Indiana’s next big technology break through?
While no one can answer that for sure, Indy Start Up weekend, will bring together a group of entrepreneurs interested in trying to become that next big company. The only question left to answer is whether you will be a part of that group!
