August 16, 2010 – Indianapolis, IN – The Construction & A/E Team of Somerset CPAs proudly participated in CANstruction® benefiting Gleaners Food Bank at the 2010 Indiana State Fair. Canned food structures are designed and built by competing teams of Indiana architects, engineers, contractors and other businesses in related fields. As the Indiana State Fair was celebrating the “Year of the Pig,” the Somerset Construction & A/E Team designed and assembled “Porko Hamdretti,” a pig driving a race car made entirely of cans. Somerset’s CANstruction® design is made up of over 1,500 cans of pineapple, Spam, green beans, corned beef, peas, chicken, baked beans and grapefruit and won the award for “Best Meal.” See Somerset’s “Porko Hamdretti” on display at the State Fair through August 22 in the Ball State Agriculture/Horticulture Building.
