The Art of Leading Transformational Change available as an e-book through AuthorHouse
The Art of Leading Transformational Change, published December, 2009, is now available in three formats, hard and soft cover and as an e-book, through the publisher, Authorhouse. (http://www.authorhouse.com/Bookstore/BookSearchResults.aspx?Search=the%20art%20of%20leading%20transformational) The book is a quick read, but as one of the reviewers commented on amazon.com: “People do not embrace change easily, this book recognizes that and provides excellent advice and thought provoking segments that anyone truly interested in successfully managing substantive change within their organization should read.”
In our world of constant change a holiday gift of The Art of Leading Transformational Changemight just be the perfect gift for your staff! Hard and soft copies of the book are also available through www.amazon.com. In addition, hard cover copies of The Art of Leading Transformational Change and copies of my first book, Mastering Momentum, are available through my website, http://www.turningpoint-consulting.com/publications/.
November 19th 8:30 – noon Seminar on The Art of Leading Transformational Change – All proceeds benefit Peace Learning Center
Back by popular demand! On November 19, 2010 I am partnering with Peace Learning Center (PLC) to offer a workshop on The Art of Leading Transformational Change. I am on the Board of PLC and I was drawn to PLC by the wonderful work the organization does in teaching healthy interpersonal skills to the youth in our community. To learn more about or to make a donation to PLC go to www.peacelearningcenter.org. All proceeds from the $49 tax-deductible seminar registration fee go to benefit kids in our community.
Attending the seminar is a great bargain, you receive a hard cover copy of The Art of Leading Transformational Change (a $29.95 retail value) and some valuable insight into leading change all while supporting a great organization that helps to keep the Indianapolis community healthy. Attendees at the previous program gave this program a 4.6 rating on a 5.0 scale when asked if the program could have a long-term impact on their lives. This is a seminar you don’t want to miss! Details of the program and how to register are in the attached document. Registration is now available!
Diversity & Inclusion Self-Assessment
Our society is becoming increasingly diverse and this past year I was asked to work with some organizations to enhance their leader’s competency in managing diversity and creating an inclusive culture. Self-awareness is critical to developing this competency so I set out to find a great diversity self-assessment. I was highly disappointed in what was available. Thus, based on 30 years experience in creating inclusive cultures and research on the latest from thought leaders in this field, a new Diversity & Inclusion Self-Assessment was created. This self-assessment enables leaders to understand the behaviors essential to creating a diverse, inclusive culture. Their reflection on the results of their assessment enables them to focus their development on the behaviors that will most enhance their effectiveness!
This Diversity & Inclusion Self-Assessment is available for individuals to purchase for a low introductory price of just $4.95 at http://www.turningpoint-consulting.com/resources/. In addition, if you would like to utilize this assessment with a team of leaders, group rates are available and the survey can be customized. Consolidated group results can be generated and can help you to focus your training efforts. The assessment is also available in a “paper and pencil” format; however, this format does not allow the consolidation of team results. To learn more about how to administer this assessment for a group, please contact me atpayars@turningpoint-consulting.com or call 317-414-9334.
