Express Employment Professionals office located in Greenwood, IN is growing – literally.  They are expanding into the office suite next door to them in the Greenwood Centre.  This expansion will add an additional 1900sq ft and up to 8 employees over the next 3 years.   The expansion project started this week and they hope to finish the expansion and renovation to the property before Christmas.

The newly expanded leased space at Greenwood Centre is locally owned by Ohio Properties and will allow Express Indy South to almost double its size.  The new 4300 sq ft office space will provide local job seekers and clients with additional space to interview, train and test for new jobs.  The current space had become cramped and Express needed to expand to keep up with the growing demand for quality associates requested by their local business clients.  According to Mike Heffner, owner of the office, Express made this change to allow them to help even more local Southside people find jobs.  “All of our jobs are on the Southside of Indy and surrounding areas.  This area is growing and has a much lower level of unemployment than many areas of the State.”

“Our Express Indy South office is more than excited about our new space.  Every desk in our office has been full for about 6 months” Heffner said. “This area has a dynamic workforce and local businesses are looking for quality people as they rebound from the recession.”

This new facility is being designed by Gerard Lehner of Lehner Designs and is being remodeled by Alderson Property Services, a division of Alderson Commercial Group.  Heffner said it was important to him that he contracts this expansion project with local businesses.  “I chose Lehner and Alderson because they are also locally owned small businesses and are also fellow Greenwood Chamber of Commerce Members”, said Heffner.

Express is looking to expand upon its already successful operation.  The Greenwood office recently celebrated its 5 year anniversary.  They have helped over 250 local businesses place over 3000 workers into jobs.  The expansion will add a 16 x 28 ft conference/training room as well as additional office space for our Recruiters and Employment Specialists.  They plan to hire 2 additional internal people within the next 30 days.  “We are looking to add to our already talented team immediately.  This space gives us the space we needed to move forward with our hiring.”
