Indianapolis, IN Over 250 entrepreneurs, investors, and software developers met Monday, January 31st to celebrate the launch of the new brand for Indianapolis Hackers & Founders. Effective immediately, the entrepreneurial event will go by a new name—Verge.
The brand signifies a renewed vision for the group as it establishes a unique identity for its strong Midwest base. Verge represents:
- an entrepreneurial community on the brink of new technological breakthroughs and business success,
- the convergence of talent and innovative business ideas,
- and much more left to be discovered as the group evolves.
“Indianapolis is on the verge,” says Matt Hunckler, 24, Organizer of Verge and Director of Marketing at Slingshot SEO.
Hunckler, who has also co-founded a number of his own online businesses, continues, “the talent, technology, and timing are right for our entrepreneurial community to tip the scale. As more people come out of the woodwork to share their skills and ideas, things will continue to gain momentum.”
The new brand was designed by Indianapolis-based brand and experience design consultancy, KA+A (http://www.kaplusa.com/).
